Support Orphan Care and Shelter

In Nigeria, the concept of foster care is not as developed as it is in many other parts of the world. There is a significant gap in the systematic support for children who have lost their parents or are living in vulnerable conditions. Many orphans, especially those without extended family, often face a bleak future with limited access to education, healthcare, and basic shelter. This absence of organized foster care or child welfare systems means that orphans are often left to survive in environments of poverty, neglect, and abuse, with few opportunities to thrive.

This is where our Abia Orphanage plays a pivotal role. Our orphanage currently cares for 20 children, providing them with a place where they receive not only shelter and nutrition but also medical attention and emotional care. These children are given clothes, healthcare, and an environment that fosters hope and community. Through this, they can begin to feel like children again, with the same opportunities to live a joyful and healthy life as any other child.
